We begin with a free 20-minute phone consultation in order to discuss your hopes for therapy and decide collaboratively if I’m the right person to offer the support you’re looking for.
Initial sessions are focused on learning more about you and understanding in more detail what you want to explore in our time together (which, by the way, is completely fine to arrive unsure about!).Especially if it’s your first time in therapy, we’ll likely also spend some time in earlier sessions talking about the various ways the therapy process can take shape and evolve over time.

Experiences we might work with together include:
stress & anxiety
self-worth
impacts of trauma, including childhood trauma & neglect
life transitions
family & relational challenges
grief and loss
depression
burnout
anger
healthy boundaries
loneliness & isolation

I really believe that the quality of connection and attunement between therapist and client is a significant factor in creating a safe, supportive and transformative experience, so taking time to build rapport, trust and security within that relationship is central to how I work.
